Beware of Timeshare Resale Scams
Before proceeding with any action on your timeshare, contact your developer or HOA directly to find out about resale and renting opportunities. Don't fall prey to any unsolicited calls by companies offering to sell your timeshares and taking upfront fees. Be cautious of any company calling you and promising to exit or cancel your timeshare contract with your timeshare developer. Be wary of any company offering to transfer you paid off ownership to another party. If an offer sounds too good to be true, it likely is.
