Charleston Outdoor Festival
April 13 – 14, 2019
Held annually at James Island County Park, The Charleston Outdoor Festival celebrates nature's playground. Event attendees can explore a multitude of outdoor recreation activities including paddlesports like kayaking, canoeing, and stand up paddleboarding. Activities like mountain biking, slack-lining, archery, a climbing wall, and disc golf are open for all skill levels with equipment and expert staff on hand to assist. The entire family can explore the on-site vendor village and enjoy live music from local bands throughout the weekend. If you forgot to bring snacks for the kids from the fridge in your timeshare unit, food and beverages will be available for purchase onsite.

Cooper River Bridge Run

This event is perfect for getting in an awesome workout with the family while on your timeshare vacation. In its 42nd year, the Cooper River Bridge Run annually brings nearly 40,000 participants (and even more visitors) to the Holy City to make the 10-K trek across the beautiful Ravenel Bridge and into downtown Charleston. If you've registered ahead of time, pick up your race day packet and check out the hundreds of vendors at the Bridge Run Expo located at the Charleston Area Convention Center. While you're in town, head over to Hampton Park for the annual Kids Run and Wonderfest on Friday April 5th, and be sure to stick around after the race for the Finish Festival in Marion Square featuring entertainment, food, vendors, refreshments and more!

Lowcountry Cajun Festival

Come enjoy a taste of Louisiana at the 28th Annual Lowcountry Cajun Festival, returning to James Island County Park this April. This all-day festival includes music, authentic Cajun and Creole food, children's activities and more! Charleston's best Cajun restaurants, caterers, and food trucks will cook up a variety of delicious foods including jambalaya, alligator, etouffee, andouille sausage and of course, crawfish! The 32nd Annual Blessing of the Fleet and Seafood Festival

This annual festival pays tribute to Mount Pleasant's local shrimping and fishing industry, set to the scenery of the iconic Ravenel Bridge and Charleston Harbor. Attendees are treated to a parade, savory seafood samplings sold by some of Mount Pleasant's best restaurants, live music, a craft show, art exhibition, Shag and shrimp-eating contests, and family-friendly activities. Volvo Car Open
March 30 – April 7, 2019
Is anyone in your family a tennis lover? The Volvo Car Open, the largest women's-only tennis tournament in North America, will host its 47th event March 30 - April 7, 2019 on Daniel Island in Charleston, South Carolina. The highly anticipated competition features the best in women's professional tennis, welcoming more than 100 of the top tennis players in the world to the Lowcountry. The nine-day tournament showcases a singles draw of 56 players, a qualifying draw of 32 players and a doubles draw of 16 players. In addition, the event boasts an average attendance of 90,000.
